I consider myself extremely passionate and self-motivated in the arts of cabinet making, furniture design and every aspect of DIY such as plumbing, tiling, kitchens ETC. My strongest asset is accuracy and I aim to do a clean and tidy job whatever it may be. Overall I value my passion and I never quit until the job is done to the best standard possible.

Previous/Current jobs
- In late January 2012 I was recruited by Greggs Bakery where I worked for the opening of a shop in Blaby on a 4 month contract.
- B&Q - I have been working since May 13th 2012. On 8th July 2012 I got offered a permanent position at B&Q as part of the Decor team which has taught me just about everything there is to know about paints, varnishes, stains and also other aspects of the store such as plumbing, gardening, building, flooring, hardware and electrical. Since September 2013 I was transferred to the kitchen/bathroom/bedroom department where I was a salesman. This department gave me a vast knowledge of the design process, customer requirements, working with the public, dealing with issues and most of all product knowledge.
- DA Computers - This is my Father's business and every now and then I am asked to help out and work there.
I have also done some voluntary work at Lutterworth Library which was to organise events for children to make the library a friendlier and more exiting place. E.G an Easter egg hunt around the library.
Finally I have been attending Moulton College since 2012 have achieved full distinctions in every single part of the course alongside mentoring two students in the year below me. I have also been selected to represent the college in the 2014 SkillBuild cabinet making competition which takes place on 09/05/2014.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
My biggest achievement was building a 12 foot rowing boat from Plywood and Fibreglass when I was aged 15. I feel this is my biggest achievement as I put my full focus and motivation into it and proved to myself that a 15 year old can be productive.
I have won the PDSA photographer of the year photography competition. Came first on a competition hosted by Watermead Park, won £200 of Jessops Vouchers on another competition.
I am also proud of how much knowledge I have gained from working at B&Q and the progression and promotions I have gained since working there.
INTERESTS
I have many interests both in and outside college; they include cycling, running, cabinet making, and music.
Cycling: I cycle to B&Q 4 days a week which is 5.4 miles. I have taken part in the LHCT Ride and Stride day which is where you are sponsored to cycle to all the churches in your area and raise money for the churches and chapels. Last year i raised around £35.
Running: I enjoy travelling round places by foot and I find running is excellent. When I attended Gilmorton Chandler CE Primary School I ran the 100m for the school every year at Saffron Lane stadium. In yeah 5 I was selected to sprint for South Leicester since I had won all the heats. I also attended cross country at Gilmorton Primary School, my best place was 13th.
Music: I taught myself to play guitar and piano and would one day love to build my own semi-acoustic guitar.
